Kirchner & Peres

Argentina president Cristina Kirchner met with
Israeli president Shimon Peres on Monday at
the Casa Rosada. Kirchner addressed her close
relationship with Hugo Chavez, who has ties
with Iran. She continued that Argentina has a
"deep respect for each country and their political
destiny...[and] believe[s] in self determination of
each society." Peres was more concerned with
remembering the terrorist attacks that targeted the
Israeli embassy and the AMIA (asociación mutual
israelita argentina) headquarters.

COLONIA, URUGUAY FOR THE DAY. JUST A
SHORT 1 HOUR FERRY RIDE FROM BUENOS
AIRES.

gravel roads overlooking the water.
an inward view from the pier.

open door policy: construction workers
working in this house left the door
open and we snuck a peek at their buttery
view.

vista de los montañas de 7 colores.
*on this trip we travelled to salta and jujuy. i tried for the first time goat and rabbit...they really do taste like chicken.

mar del plata. my first solo vacation. totally worth it.

i was invited to uruguay, recruited actually, for being one of the few able to drive stick. we drove all through the night, only killing one jack rabbit along the way. this picture was taken upon our arrival in puente del diablo, 615am.

uruguayan coast at sunset. we dug a hole in the ground, added wood and a grate, and had the best dinner ever--meat, corn, carrots, bell peppers. only thing missing was smores.
