maru botana, a few doors down from my house, is a totally delish bakery/cafe. their chocolate chip cookies are more like mini muffins with a slightly crispy shell...buttery fresh and completely melt in your mouth. my cookie didn't last long enough to snap a foto.

ReplyDeleteMaru Botana is fantastic! My favorite merienda salada (salty snack) was the round pretzel knott. They are 4 pesos each but so worth it. I do not know how they make the dough so moist and soft! And they even call it "pretzel" in Spanish...no translation necessary! :)
